Appointment reminders via the NHS App are now live

As of this week, NHS App users will be able to receive appointment reminders (and post-appointment survey requests) as notifications via the App. Patients must have their App notifications switched on in order to receive these alerts. If an NHS App message is not opened within 24 hours, the appointment reminder will automatically be sent as an SMS.
