Without notifications switched on, you may not realise that a message has been sent to you unless you open the app and check manually.
By completing a simple online form, mums-to-be can now refer themselves directly to their local maternity services without needing to see a GP first.
The new service enables families to choose which NHS trust to refer themselves to, helping them to meet their midwife and begin NHS pregnancy care as early as possible.
