Important: Enable your NHS App notifications

We increasingly use the NHS App to send important information such as updates about your care or treatment, appointment information and reminders, and responses to queries or advice requests.

The NHS App is designed to notify you when a new message arrives, but you will only receive these alerts if notifications are enabled on your device. For instructions on how enable these, please click here.

Without notifications switched on, you may not realise that a message has been sent to you unless you open the app and check manually.

Paediatric Hub update

Over the winter months we were again pleased to fund our PCN Paediatric Hub for urgent, on-the-day, children’s problems. Slots opened at 7am, were designated for children only, and were online bookable.

This Hub has closed as of April 1, but we hope to offer a similar service next winter.

We recognise that being able to book a slot on the day for children is so very useful and saves time on the phone for everyone, so would encourage all parents to ensure they apply for online proxy access for their children and consider using this option over the rest of the year.

Children will be seen in our main surgery.

By necessity there will be fewer dedicated slots (as we hope winter infections recede) but we aim to ensure some open every weekday at 7am and are online bookable.

Please consider using this service.
